Social issue Poster - Family vlogging

Create a poster that focuses on a specific social issue.
introduction
Many people overlook the dangers of filming your child's life for some mere attention online. This goes especially for family vloggers on Youtube, exploiting their children for content and money. It is an issue that is not talked about enough as there are currently no laws protecting the children who are living in that specific environment. For example, "pranking" videos that are no longer simple joke but plain emotional abuse. Consequences of putting your child’s life online could cause mental health growth, the invasion of privacy and exposing your children to strangers.
approach
In order to properly contextualize the social issue in a visual style, I had brainstormed keywords that lead me to certain compositions that would position the viewers in front of the screen. The sans serif type is a recall to the subtitles used in films and media, it has a warning/danger connotation from the toxic yellow. Placed in a green toxic background to represent the green screen.The O from the word “Not” acts as a camera lens and the child is represented as a doll to showcase how some parents view their child. Lastly, there is a play on words, with “content”. One meaning that portrays the child’s feeling and the other definition of content that is used for media and books.
OUTCOME
I really love the outcome of the poster, as it is eye-catching, creepy and shines light on a topic that is not spoken about enough.
